DesignCalcs: 2021.9.0.5477 Release

The following features are available with the 2021.9.0.5477 Release of DesignCalcs:

• A supplemental calculation for evaluating Rated B16.5 and B16.47 Flanges to various methods such as those proposed by UG-44(b), Koves and Kellogg has been added.

• The nozzle reports can now show compliance with UG-44(a) in the nozzle summary and the nozzle neck calculations part of the report. This can be done using the new “Reference UG-44(a) with UG-45” check box on the Nozzle General Info form.

• ASME Section VIII Div 1 2021 code changes are now available in the software.

• The Tubesheet Shear Calculation window has been updated per the 2021 Edition of ASME Section VIII Div 1 to consider yield strength in determining if the shear stress needs to be calculated for the tubesheet.

• Tube to Tubesheet weld configurations have been updated to support new options in the 2021 Edition.
